Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes along with old classical pieces. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos along with all dramatic performances. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16, under the direction of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer in the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. As a teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana is also a past participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her passion and enthusiasm for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
